AFib with RVR
Cardiovert the unstable patient. Rate-control the stable one, tailoring the drug to heart failure and never giving AV nodal blockers in pre-excited AF.

- Sepsis, hypovolemia, PE, thyrotoxicosis, alcohol, pain, hypoxia
- Treat the trigger; RVR may be compensatory
