Adult ACLS
Adult Post-Cardiac Arrest Care
Stabilize airway, ventilation, and blood pressure; get a 12-lead; decide on emergent cath; control temperature in patients who don't follow commands.
Interactive pathway
- Action
Initial stabilization
- Airway: early endotracheal tube placement; confirm with waveform capnography
- Breathing: start at 10 breaths/min; titrate to SpO₂ 92–98% and PaCO₂ 35–45 mmHg
- Circulation: SBP > 90 mmHg and MAP > 65 mmHg with fluids and vasopressors
- Assess
Obtain 12-lead ECG
- Continuous cardiac monitoring
- Consider early POCUS echo
- Decision
